Alas it’s June and the annual school sports days are upon us. Hamish had his first then Heather, a week later. It has to be said, both my kids are not budding athletes by any stretch of the imagination but they both muddled through as best they could. Although, saying that, Heather did come home with a gold and a silver (not bad for 8 events).

Hamish’s teacher was trying to keep him steady so the ring wouldn’t fall off AGAIN. But he got a sticker for trying his best. The girl sitting behind him on the bench is Kayla, his best buddy. She’s is basically a boy in a girl’s body.
